She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Friesen and Elizabeth Friesen; her husband Norman Thiessen; and her children, Byron, Dale (Janet), Cheryl Friesen (Harold), Rhonda Sweeting (Tim), Myra Kroeker (Wes), Brian (Frieda) and Steven (Leanna). She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and spouses and 26 great grandchildren and spouses.
In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to Sunrise Villa, Maryfield, in memory of Leora.
