He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pybus and Doreen Pybus. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cornwell; his children, Paul Pybus (Holly Keeler) of Saskatoon and Heather of Vancouver; his stepchildren, Paul Cornwell (Megan) of London, ON and Teresa Cornwell (Ali Williams) of Kitchener, ON; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Jenna, Eden, Aidan, James, Isaac and Sol; his siblings, Dave Pybus (Liz) of Hanover, ON and Margo Pybus of Ardrossan, AB; and his brother-in-law Doug Zimmer (Gwen) of Calgary. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can made to Sherbrooke Community Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society for Prostate Cancer research.
