He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lovell and Ruby Lovell (Nelson); his wife Penny Erickson; his grandparents, Ruth, Jim Lovell, Rose and Albert Nelson; and his siblings, Glen (Arlin), Jimmy, Mark, Kevin, Maureen and Brenda.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jordyn, Colten, Paige and Ella; his siblings, Shirley (Dale) and Randy (Laura); his nephews, Jeff and James Lovell; his niece Leah (Randy); his sister Linda; his nieces and nephews, Tyler, Jason and Shirley (Dale); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lisa (JD), Kerry, Daniel (Stephanie) and Debbie (Stephen); his aunts, Shirley Ghattey (Barrack) and Ethel Nelson; and also, Stacey, Jenna Sommerfeld, Dawn, Macey, Christine (Glen), Perry (Adelfa) and Rowena. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
