He is survived by: the mother of his children Sharon; his children, Charlene Joanette, Wesley Joanette (Dana) and Tracy Joanette (Felix); his grandchildren, Amanda, Tamara, Tristen, Cora-Lee, Talia, Hailey and Carter; and his siblings, Louis Joanette (Jan), Raymond Joanette (Bonnie) and Julie Bonin (Dave). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
