He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Berke and Gloria Berke; his brothers, Chris and Jeff Berke; his siblings-in-law, Cliff, Doris Schultz and Colleen Schultz; his wife Lynn; his children, Riley Berke (Leah) and Rachelle Berke (Ryan Pocha); his granddaughters, Kali Jessen-Berke, Kaelyn Berke and Lachlan Berke; his brother Paul Berke (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Wendy Berke and Robert Schultz (Kathy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
