It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Holowatiuk (Martensville, Saskatchewan), born in Buchanan, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Holowatiuk and Mary Holowatiuk; his daughters-in-law, Brenda (Fredrickson) and Cheryl (McLean); and his grandson Jonathan Holowatiuk.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wiztko; his children, Gary, Maryann, Ken and Brad (Jean); his grandchildren, Nikki McLean (Graham Pawelko), Lacey Klotz (Travis), Krystal Skwara, Amber Herauf (Milan) and Kayla Devaux (Branden); his great grandchildren, Kyler, Kamden, Knox, Preston, Munroe, Payton, Benjamin and William; his sisters, Vicky Ganner and Pauline (Joe); his sister-in-law Linda Holowatiuk; and his friend John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Donations can be made in John Holowatiuk's name to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon who took wonderful care of our John.
