He was predeceased by: his children, Cathy O'Hara, Jan Berger (Keith), Debbie Ross (Graham), Joanne Friesen (Rick), David O'Hara (Theresa), Heather Cattell (Kent) and Patti O'Hara (Dave); and his wife Margaret (Leach).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Rena O'Hara. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
