George Metka Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2024, George Metka in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Jean Hellings (Ken); and his parents, George Sr. Metka and Nellie Metka. He is survived by: his sons, David Metka (Sherry) and Craig Metka (Tanya); his grandson Scott (Melie); his great grandchild Camilla; his granddaughter Brittany (Chad); his great grandchildren, Quinn and Simon; his granddaughter Stephanie (Josh); his great grandchildren, Lily, Hayden, Adeline and Logan; his granddaughter Nicole (Nick); his great grandchild Ford; his grandchildren, Charlene (Mark) and Shelby (Reid); his brother Gordon Metka (Monica); and also Tracy Klein (Darcy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
