He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowes and Mae Lowes; his brother Lynn Lowes; his parents-in-law, Norman and Elsie Ellis; his daughter Debbie VanDeSype; his brothers-in-law, Robert Williams and Gordon Kruger; and his son-in-law Tim Stadnick.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Lowes; his daughter Cindy Haggarty (Clint); his granddaughter Christa Bourassa (family: Carla Crossman); his son-in-law Brad Anderson (Wanda Stadnick); his daughters, Mandy Mead (Michael, family: Jerrad Stadnick, Kristen Stadnick) and Darla Bekker (Steve); his grandchildren, Daina and Matthew (Amanda); his children, Kevin Lowes and Robin Lowes (Dolo); his granddaughters, Desiree Tarrant (Cass, family: Danielle, Dannica) and Kerri Schmidt (Pete); his children, Nick and Nathen; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Kruger and June Stengler (Pete). He is also survived by 22 great- grandchildren.
