Melvin George Schafer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2023, at the age of 84, Melvin George Schafer (Mankota, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna; his sister Rosemarie Chabot; his parents, Mathew Schafer and Barbara Schafer; and his mother-in-law Annette Smith.

He is survived by: his son Ryan Schafer (Roslyn); his grandson Cam (Loren); his great grandchild Nate; his granddaughter Sarah Robillard (Ryan); his daughter Cynthia Lamontagne (Randy); his granddaughters, Rachelle Gilewicz (Adam), Rebecca (Kelly Harper) and Danielle (Tyler Williams); his great grandchild Lincoln; his son Blaine Schafer (Margaret); his grandchildren, Kirsten, Regan and Caitlyn; his brother Edward Schafer; and his brother-in-law Darcy Smith (Loretta).
