He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Blanchette; his parents, Joseph Adelare "Edward" Blanchette and Rachel Lavinia McCulloch; his parents-in-law, William and Julia Bamford; his granddaughters, Brandy Young and Nicole Collins; and his siblings, Victor, Charles, Robert, Harvey, Clarence, Eugene, Blanche and Jeannine.
He is survived by: his children, Marie (Gerald Hartman), Don Blanchette (Marilyn) of Streamstown, AB, Terry Blanchette (Tracey) of Lloydminster, AB, Colleen (Doug Young) of Paynton, Fern Younger (Wade) of Lloydminster, SK and Ardella (Duane Franks) of Lloydminster, AB; and his grandchildren, Kurt Hartman (Gina), Chris Hartman (Kim), Jeff Collins, Jill Vany (Mike), Melissa Nasby (Sheldon), Jeff Blanchette (Heidi), Sean Blanchette (Lisa), Ryan Blanchette (Lauren), Scott Young (Megan), Devon Walker (Pam), Warren Walker (Christa), Mandy Walker, Chelsea Skoretz (Kyle) and Brett Franks (April). He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
