He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Bamford and Julia Bamford; his parents-in-law, John and Velma May; his sisters, Vivian and Georgina; and his brothers-in-law, Pete, Clarence and Gene.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Bamford; his children, Tammy Parkin (Brett), WIlliam Bamford (Tammy) and Adam Bamford (Ray); his grandchildren, Tayler (Theo), Kyla (Spencer), Samantha, Avery, Aidan and Hunter; his great grandchild Weston; his sisters, Shirley and Mary; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley (Allan) and Barb (Keith). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
