He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Gordon Bichel (Nada), Charlotte Vollman (Bruce) and Harold Bichel (Rose); his grandchildren, Patricia Robertson (Brian) of Heather Knorr, Mandi Oschner (Kelly), Natalie Cameron (Tim), Jocelyn Nokinsky (Dave), Tamara Edwards (Troy), Jenelle Vollman, Ryan Bichel (Carmen), Brittney Christie (Colin), Garrett Bichel (Shelby) and Tyler Bichel; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Robertson, Taylor, Martina, Taren, Suzannah, Rachel, Evanya, Veronica Ochsner, Landen, Preston, Mason Cameron, Avery Edwards, Benjamin Norman, Parker, Pierson, Chase, Reese Bichel, Declan, Emmeline and Rowan Christie. He is also survived by nine children.
