With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alois Engebretson of Lumsden, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 15, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Quaal and Sophie Quaal (Skogstad); her husband Lester Engebretson; her grandson J. D. Sneddon; her brothers-in-law, Sidney Engebretson, Mike Doherty and Terry Colin; and also, Wilma Wickstrom (Frayne), Josie Baldry, Ivy Pengelly (Jack) and Edna Engebretson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lynn (Frank) and Lisa Faye; her grandchildren, Shantel (Jason), Glory (Dave), Reid, Caitlyn (Mitch), Ciara and Nathan (Amber); her great grandchildren, Treyton, Christian (Hope), Jordan, Ethan, Savannah, Austin and Sawyer; her sister Lenora Doherty; and her sister-in-law Mary Colin. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

She participated in many curling bonspiels and was always ready to donate time and food to various local organizations throughout the years.
