He is survived by: his father Guy; his stepmother Terry of Saskatoon; his brother Marc Simard; his nieces, Willa and Beatrix of Toronto; his sister Jeannette Loucks (Dean); his nephews, Aidan and Kieran of Saskatoon; his stepbrother Mark Wanner; his children, Sawyer, Minna, Ben Wanner, Kat and Neko of Saskatoon; and his close friends, Marc Butler of Loon Lake, Debbie Schmold of Comox and Andrew Cook of Saskatoon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
