He was predeceased by: his son Rodney Moffat; his parents, William J. Moffat and Marjorie E. Moffat; and his sisters, Sally-Anne Chapet and Billie Jane Marquis.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Moffat; and his children, William Moffat, Karl Moffat and Melissa Milos. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
