He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother James William John "Jim" Fowler; his mother Marianne Fowler; his grandparents, John Wingert, Jeanne Fowler and Dick Fowler; his great-aunt Mary; his great-uncle John Miller; his uncle Rick Fowler; his aunts, Linda Grimm and Beverly Lobe; his cousin Nicholas Fowler; his pet Diefenbaker; his father William Fowler; his siblings, Lorraine Snell (Remi), Dawn Barker, Robert Fowler (Alicia) and Sarah Fowler; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Snell, Nathan Snell, Victoria Barker, Sarah Barker, Michael Barker, Xochipilli Diaz-Fowler, Citlalli Diaz-Fowler, Xoco Diaz-Fowler, Johanna Fowler and Jessie Fowler; his great-nephew Elijah Leupold-Barker; and his grandmother Adeline Wingert. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
