He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Mattock and Eva Mattock; and his siblings, Billy, Dick, Gordon, Howard and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Olexson; his children, Peggy (John), Norman (Linda), Kelly (Karen) and Lorna (Dan); his granddaughters, Krystal (A. J.) and Megan (Darcy); his daughter Riannon (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Maddison, Weston, Emmerson, Lynden (Stacey), Kris (Tanis), Kendra, Sydney (Jake), Hannah (Kyle) and Cody (Jessica); and his sisters, Shirley Peake and Betty Legge.
