She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Joanette; and her father Edward McCarron (Dora). She is survived by: her son Jim Joanette (Linda, family: Sherry Joanette, James, Eric Dodge); her family, Chris Joanette (Alysha), Noah, Mae, Maddi, Evie, Nathan Hudson (Laura), Terrance, Micah, Keagan and Jayden; her sister Hazel Carter; her brother-in-law Fred Ross; her siblings, James McCarron (Marion), Annie Armitage (George), Helen Dobrowolski (John), Bridget Lalonde (Jim) and Nellie Ross; her brother-in-law Leon Carter; her parents-in-law, Napoleon, Dorilla Joanette (Corbeil), Albert Joanette (Adeline), Mary Joanette (Pat), Ludger Joanette (Lucy), Paul Joanette (Sadie), Cordelia Cournoyer (Lloyd), Arther Joanette (Augustine), Leona Beauregard (Roger), Jim Lyons, Louis Joanette (Effie), Wilfrid Joanette (Petrina), Eva Schreiber (Mike), Lillian Foster (Gerry), Giselle Provencher (Alphonse), Theresa DiPalma (Peter) and Oscar Joanette (Rose); and her great grandchild Hunter Hudson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in honor of Florence Joanette to either St. Joseph's Parish in Marcelin, or to the Wheatland Lodge in Leask.
