He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Krein and Carrie Krein; his son Rodney; his grandchildren, Stacey and Mike; his siblings, Emile, Alvin, Emma and Lil; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Volkman.
He is survived by: his wife Marjory Krein (Gus Stolson); his children, Garry Krein and Donna Stevens (Kelly); his daughter-in-law Loreen Krein; and his grandchildren, Jason Krein, Teri Dart (George), Lana Caudill (Rick), Cory Stevens (Echo), Mathew Stevens (Jenn), Trina Krein (James) and Shawna Biermann. He is also survived by his twenty-one great-grandchildren; and by his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
