He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wolgien and Ruth Cencora; his siblings, Marie Zacharuk (Ray), Caroline Marlowe (Neil), Wayne and Vance; his nephew Cory Zacharuk; and his parents-in-law, Bill and June Luchyk.

He is survived by: his wife Vivian Wolgien; his sons, Justin Wolgien of Vermilion, Shawn Wolgien of Vermilion and Kirk Wolgien (Shaelyn Strang) of Vermilion; and his siblings, Judy Terre (Eric) of St. Paul, Bernie Wolgien (Marie) of Lashburn, SK and Dean Wolgien of Lloydminster, SK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
