He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Winter and Emma Winter of Lashburn, Saskatchewan.; his siblings, Ed, Leona and Helena; and his grandson Dale.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Mariam), Ken (Dawn) and Donna (Jack); and his grandchildren, Conrad (Andrea), Jami (Jason), Jodi (Justin), Jim (Naomi) and Krista (Scott). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
