He was predeceased by: his wife Phillis; his parents, Jacob Kargut and Tina Kargut; and his siblings, John, Henry, Roy (Cecile), Edward, Benjamin and Margret Thiessen (Frank).
He is survived by: his sister Helen Gramson (Albert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
