He was predeceased by: his son Stewart Balzer; and his siblings, Norman, Elmer, Menno and Gladys Reimer.
He is survived by: his wife Sella Balzer; his children, Crystal Levesque (Cliff), Cynthia Chan (Robert) and Steven Balzer (Kristy); his siblings, Olga Haffner, Edith Warner and Louella Hartz; and his sister-in-law Margaret Balzer. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
