He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gach and Annie Gach; his sister Lily Cheslock; his parents-in-law, Mervin and Margaret Vancoughnett; his brothers-in-law, John Mazurak, Karl Fekete and Art Wickett; and his friend Bob Graas.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Gach; his daughter Shelley Goudie (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jordan (Stacey), Scott (Shylan), Madison and Lyndzee; his son Kory Gach (Jodi); his grandchildren, Brett and Brody; his daughter Stacey Gach; his grandchildren, McKynlie (Little Mac) and Hadleigh; his great grandchildren, Kristee Gach (Shane) and Lydia Goudie; his siblings, Pete Gach (Sandy), Mary Mazurak, Kathy Wickett and Rosie Fekete; his friend J. P. Proulx; and also, Bair and York. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
