He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Young and Fred Cheekinew; and his siblings, George, William, Jimmy and Veronica Young.
He is survived by: his children, Twyla Cote, Jennifer Pritchard (Jamie), Charity Young (Danny Laplante) and Pascal Erasmus; his grandchildren, Dante Desjarlais and Ariana Laplante; his brothers, Mervin and Wayne Young; his niece Shiela Tucker (Monty); and his close friend John Cuthand. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
A wake was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Percy Severight Memorial Band Hall (1 St W, Kylemore, SK S0A1Z0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
