Lyle Cates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Cates (Kyle, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 4, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lyle Cates to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Catherine; and his siblings, Elmer, Keith, Enid Henderson, Helen Will and Lettia Byrd.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Lois Howes (Leonard), Glenn Cates (Sylvia), Oran Cates, Colby Cates and Katelyn Cates; his brothers-in-law, Al Will and William Byrd; and also, Witt Howes (Jackie Vesey), Wyler, Cecelia, Jay, Bill (Allison), Autumn and Lily. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In his memory, memorial donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada or charity of the donor's choice.
