She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William Schmidt; her children, Arlene Leeks and Ken Schmidt (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Barry (Ashley) of Brandy, AJ, Travis, Kristel, Rob (Kim) and Matt. She was also cherished by 7 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Clearview Community Church (819 Main St, Kindersley, SK S0L1S0).
