He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cowie and Mae Cowie; his siblings, Bill Cowie, Don Cowie (Verna), Basil Cowie (Kay), Inez Kidd (Harvey), Lorna Coutts (Eric), Alvin Cowie (Audrey) and Doreen Sunderland (Harvey); and his extended family, Holly Sunderland, Bob Kidd, Wendy Draper, Wayne Cowie and Alan Coutts.
He is survived by: his sisters, Grace Johnson (Alan) and Irene Draper (Dennis). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
