He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Sitter (Materi); his daughter Patricia Sitter; his parents, Fred Sitter and Pearl Sitter; and his sisters, Freda Baker (Bruce), Gail Moreside and Rose Schmidt (Norman).
He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Sitter (Anne), Nadine Locke (Lyle) and Elaine Schultz (Ron); his children, Rhonda Coates, Rhelda Simon (Harvey), Shelley Conway (Nelson), Cheryl Abbey (Dave) and Byron Sitter; his great grandchild Stephen Conway [Michelle] (Cora); and his grandchildren, Eric Conway [Emily], Christina Welker, Britney Hanke [Travis], Jennifer Baran [Michael], Amber Coates [Kevin] (Madison), Tricia Kuntz, Austin Abbey [Emily] and Luke Magnus Tengs (Abbey).
