With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon Helmkay of Kamsack, Saskatchewan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sharon left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sharon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sharon has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Byron Liebrecht; her husband Robert Helmkay (Bob); her parents, Joseph Maccala and Mary Maccala; and her sister Bonnie Cameron.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shannan Vereschagin (Brian) and Shanneen Goszulak (Jeff); her grandchildren, Dylan, Carter and Elyse Vereschagin; and her brother Dale Maccala (Mandy).
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kamsack Nursing Home Auxiliary.
