He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl and Anna; and his siblings, Peter Sych, Sylvia Sas, Olga Monastyrski and Irene Antony.

He is survived by: his siblings, Don Sych (Sharon), Russell Sych (Ellen), Anastasia Yereniuk (Roman) and Cathy Zawatsky (Clarie); his siblings-in-law, Mike Sas, Taras Monastyrski, Dave Antony and Stella Sych; and his friend Madge Lake. He is also survived by his loved ones, special school friends.
