It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Sawchyn of Ituna, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Kozakewich and Nancy Kozakewich; her sister-in-law Sophie Kozakewich; her husband William Sawchyn; her siblings, Annie, Adela, Marie, Mike, John and Alex; her son-in-law John; and her siblings-in-law, John, Tony, Alex, Edward and Olga.
She is survived by: her sister Katie; her children, Mervin Sawchyn (Pat), Janice Giesbrecht (Ed), Elaine Musyj (John) and Doreen Sawchyn (Robert Goodwin); and her sister Helen Sawchyn.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
