She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her daughter Susan Hubbs; her son-in-law Les Hubbs; her parents, Lawrence Ries and Sophie Ries; and her sisters, Edith Posehn (Otto) and Mary Miller (Henry).

She is survived by: her children, Laura Spence (Don) and Ken Small (Grace); her grandchildren, Jeff Spence (Vicki), Angela Spence (Mark), Seann Spence (Nasha), Laurie Heisler (Mike), Garrett Small (Jackie) and Dustin Small; her great grandchildren, Tyson (Danielle), Jackson, Abby, Becca, Kyle, Aleska, Gabriella, Asher, Ezra, Madison and Bailee; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Small (Sam). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
