He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ostafichuk and Nettie Ostafichuk; his siblings, Andrew Ostafichuk, Elsie Keller (Peter) and Evelyn Swerhone (Bill); his niece Lisa Duncan; and his great-nephew Paul Chernoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Jean; his son-in-law Jason Reine; his wife Kathy; his granddaughters, Tessa and Reese; and his pet Juno. He is also survived by numerous nephews, cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Canora Hospital Auxiliary or to Jowsey House Rehabilitation Centre, Yorkton, SK, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Lawrence Ostafichuk.
