He was predeceased by: his parents, William McLean and Mary McLean; his brothers, Allan and Gordon; his great grandchild Avery Green; and his sisters-in-law, Lena McLean and Viola McLean.

He is survived by: his son Rod; his wife Violet McLean; his great grandchildren, Donna Raab (Murray) of Fleming and Kristal Demas (Matthew) of Fleming; his children, Skylyn Green, Tristen Green, Ryan Green (Kayla Chicoine) of Moosomin, Cindy Green (Trevor), Henry McLean of Fleming, Sarah Barczai and Connor Brown of Regina; his daughter-in-law Vyenda McLean; his children, Christine McLean of Saskatoon, Kimberly Mills (Jordan) of Saskatoon, Bradley McLean of Humboldt, Cameron McLean (Valerie) of Watson, Rylan McLean of Saskatoon, Jordan McLean of Saskatoon, Raelyn McLean of Saskatoon, Karen Schroeder (Sheldon) of Saskatoon, Amanda Ilg (Mike), Jaxson Moberly, Talia Moberly of Saskatoon, Stacy Moberly, Derek Schroeder, Jesse Schroeder, Loreen Vidak (Ken) of Humboldt, Sarah Sand (Ted), Megan Vidak of Winnipeg, Justin Vidak (Paige) of St. Gregor, Jamieson McLean (Mavis), Spencer of Slave Lake, Kael Short (Brandis) and Emily Short; his brother Ron McLean of Watson; and also, Gregory McLean (Sandie) of Humboldt and Stephanie Brown of Regina. He is also survived by 6 children, 17 grandchildren.
