It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Hokanson (Gull Lake, Saskatchewan), born in Goodeve, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mel Hokanson; her parents, Katie Yaworski (Washak) and Joseph Yaworski; her brother Walter Yaworski; and her siblings-in-law, Elsie Yaworski, Edith Hitchens, Warren Hokanson, Roy Hitchens, Don Uchacz, Frank Fernetti and Frank Chopik.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Gee (Doug) and Dale Hokanson (Cindy); her grandchildren, Heather Gee (Shane Peterson), Brenden Gee (Jasmine), Erik Gee, Lauren Posey (Mike), Kelly Hokanson and Kyle Hokanson (Cassy Smart); her great grandchildren, Evan, Derek Gee Peterson and Hayden Rose Posey; her siblings, John Yaworski (Bertha Moore) and Tillie Chopik; and her siblings-in-law, Wilbur, Henry Hokanson (Lynn), Margaret Fernetti and Shirley Uchacz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Creighton Lodge Trust Fund, 1028 Hillcrest Drive, Estevan, SK S4A 1Y7 in memory of Rose.
