He was predeceased by: his wife Betty (McLellan); his parents, Peter Ohlheiser and Irene Ohlheiser; his sisters, Monica Moore and Patricia Ohlheiser; and his brother-in-law Wes McLellan.

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Brenda) of Kindersley, SK, Kevin of Saskatoon, SK, Dean (Deb) of Neuhorst, SK, Donna Clarke (Dean) of Summerland, BC and Jayne of Saskatoon, SK; his grandchildren, Tyson Parsons (Stephanie Simms), Miranda Ohlheiser (Derrick McClean), Malcolm Ohlheiser, Maxwell Ohlheiser, Brendan Clarke and Shae-Lynn Clarke; his great grandchildren, Autumn Peacock, Declan Peacock, Judah Kilpatrick, Colby McClean, Aliah McClean, Madeline Parsons and Nora Parsons; and his sister Helen McLellan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
