He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Hokanson (Downes) and Adler Hokanson; his siblings, Edith Hitchens, Doreen Hokanson, Dorothy Hokanson and Warren Hokanson; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Hitchens, Don Uchacz, Frank Fernetti and Walter Yaworski.

He is survived by: his spouse Rose Hokanson (Yaworski); his children, Gloria Gee (Doug) and Dale Hokanson (Cindy); his grandchildren, Heather Gee (Shane Peterson), Brenden Gee (Jasmine), Erik Gee (Terra Lynn Weeks), Lauren Posey (Mike), Kelly Hokanson and Kyle Hokanson (Cassy Smart); his great grandchild Evan Peterson; his siblings, Margaret Fernetti, Henry Hokanson (Lynn) and Shirley Uchacz; and his siblings-in-law, John Yaworski (Bertha Moore) and Tillie Chopik (Frank).
