She was predeceased by: her father Cletus Ruetz; her grandparents, Anthony, Apolonia Ruetz, Aaron and Marie Girodat; her parents-in-law, Bob and Kay Gedny; and her siblings-in-law, Shane Gedny and Davida Gedny.

She is survived by: her mother Isabelle Ruetz; her husband Alan Gedny; her children, Brent (Trina), Trevor (Pam) and Rebecca; her grandchildren, Chase, Torrance, Lexi, Dylan, Logan, Blaize and Maverick; her siblings, Beverly (Laurent), Leonard (Cathy), Margery (Terry), Greg (Joanne), Sandra (Brent), Lois (Warren), Kevin (Racquel), Elaine and Marleen (Dwayne); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce and Tracey (Dwight). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
