It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Emily McVittie of Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Grace Emily departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Grace Emily. Though Grace Emily may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Reed (Halstead) and Roland Reed; her former husband Scott McLeod; and her husband George. She is survived by: her children, Donna (family: Eric, Justin, Kali, Emma, Kayden, Maycee, Reed) and Bruce (Gail, family: Jeffrey, Tiera, Iain); and her close friend Ron Joseph.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (3371 Rutland Ave, Gull Lake, SK S0N1A0). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Grace to the Anglican Diocese of Qu'Appelle, 1501 College Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 1B8, or to a charity of your choice.
