Albert Haakenson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Haakenson (Gull Lake, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Haakenson and Muriel Haakenson; his daughter Trina; his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Murray, Audrey Neustaeter (Hank) and Paula Wirsta; and his siblings-in-law, May Haakenson, Lou Cherniawsky and Ivan Reid.

He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen and Tina; his granddaughter Ashley; his sisters, Joyce McCrea (Gord), Marg Cherniawsky, Jean Haakenson, Irene Scott (Art) and Blanda Pribyl (John); his siblings-in-law, Sandra Haakenson (Armand) and Fred Wirsta; and also, Tom (Doreen), Glenn (Edith), John (Linda) and Alf (Maureen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
