It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lorraine Shier of Govan, Saskatchewan, born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Mearns and Ivy Mearns; her brother Dale; her brother-in-law Willy; her great grandchild Kreestyn; her parents-in-law, Clifford and Helen; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor and Bill; and her nephews, David and Derwood.

She is survived by: her daughter Shannon (Willy); her husband Wally; her daughter Lacey (Tim); her grandchildren, Justin, Breanna (Kris), Wesley (Jennifer), Serenady and Autumn; her great grandchildren, Keanan, Lyric, Kayana, Brayden, Hailie, Alaya and Olivia; her sister Heather; and her sister-in-law Brenda. She is also survived by grandmother and great-grandmother.

Memorial donations may be made to the Yorkton & District Nursing Home Recreation Department as gifts of remembrance.
