She is survived by: her children, Tony Backmeier, Mary Wittenberg (Eric), Betty LaRocque (Albert) and Debora Bernard (Rob); her grandchildren, Lance, Samuel LaRocque, Tara, Curtis Wittenberg (Taraleigh), Shawn Hill (Geena) and Candace Armitage (Mike); her great grandchildren, Jason, Elric Wittenberg, Madison and Wyatt Armitage; and her siblings, Fred, Andrew Lauzon, Irene Smith and Caroline MacDonald.
Many thanks to family and friends who kept in touch and supported her over the years, especially during the pandemic when families were not always able to get together.
