He was predeceased by: his wife Hedwig; and his son Jim. He is survived by: his children, Pat (Bev), Tracy (Dale) and Lloyd (Frances); his grandchildren, Brent, Michael, Janda, Jessica, Joshua, Jordan, Jenna, Toby, Blake and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Bobbi, Kalyn, Kinsey, Logan, Rosalie, Danika, Austyn, Presley, Paisley, Christian, Ember, Harlow, Aria and Judah; and his sister Annie Burant.
