He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Gardipee; and his siblings, Frank Gardipee, Charles Gardipee, Peter Gardipee, Virginia Gardipee and Rose Lillico.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Gardipee (Noma) of St. Vincent, AB, Ben Gardipee (Shirley) of Rimby, AB, Annie Peterson of Cold Lake, AB, Madeline Gardipee of Cold Lake, AB and Christel Johnson (Stan) of Pierceland, SK; his stepchildren, Angela Shubert (Dave), Brenda Cuthbert, Wes Cuthbert (Karen) and Michael Cuthbert; and his close friends, Glen and Maxine Torgersen of Pierceland, SK.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
