It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Marie McConnell of Goodsoil, Saskatchewan, born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Adam Degenhardt and Vern McConnell; her stepdaughter Lillian (Rodney Usselman); her sons-in-law, Zoltan Farkas and Gilbert Prince; her great grandchild Oliver Degenhardt; her father John Schewalje; and her siblings, Adolph, Florian, Marie and Katherine.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew, Mackenzie, Rob and Kristi Degenhardt; her grandchildren, Joshua, Janessa and Aaron; her children, Linda Degenhardt, Sherilee and Doug Schmidtz; her grandchildren, Denys and Carter; her children, Bonnie, Evan and Andrew (Renee Degenhardt); her grandchildren, Liam, Wesley, Danyel, Ashley Degenhardt (family: Felix, Leo), Prince, Darwin and Rachel Farkas; her great grandchildren, Dienne, Lynn Farkas, Shane (family: McKenna, Dawson, Anisten), Colette Degenhardt, Ryan, Jayne Degenhardt, Sarah, Jason Moellenbeck (family: Heidi, Jeremy), Jerry Duchscher, Adam, Val Duchscher, Amanda and Alex Osadchuk; her children, Keegan (Anthony Duchscher), Jack, Beau, Luke, Kailey and Tim Darwent (family: Madeleine, William, Winifred); her stepgrandchildren, Dwayne, Reanne Usselman, Lorena and Chris Friesen; her mother Anna Schewalje; her children, Ernie, Emil, Don and Dorothy; her grandchildren, Dwayne and Lorena; and also, Lena and Aiden.
