He was predeceased by: his parents, Gudi and Gudrun; his sister Marcella Lamb; and his granddaughter Tara. He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Lyle Helgason of Saskatoon, Dean Helgason of Martensville, Candace Caswell and Mark Caswell of White City; his siblings, Joan Haskey of Wadena, Marilyn Barber, Keith Barber of Leslie, Karen Smith and Dale Smith of Orillia, ON; his grandchildren, Robin, Simon Stoner, Jeremy, Heather Helgason, Megan, Jordan Santoro, Hali Helgason, Lisa Helgason, Alexa Jantzen, Rhiannon Caswell, Anika Caswell, Kaden Phelps, Danai Caswell and Carter Phelps; his great grandchildren, Dominick, Lucas, Abel, Mac and Levi; and his granddaughter Candace. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
