He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Ken" James Milton and Gail Milton (Fisher); and his grandparents, James, Lily Milton, Gordon and Margaret Fisher.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Jo Milton (Donovan); his daughter Jordan Nicole (Evan Aitken); his brother Dwayne Milton (Udelle); his nephews, Bradley, Logan, Kyle and Jared; his sister-in-law Udelle Milton (Ross); and also Penny Jo.
