It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Merton Purvis of Estevan, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Darcy Purvis; his parents, James Purvis and Clara Purvis; his siblings, Laura James (Bob), Ronald and Clarence; his parents-in-law, Lillian and Joe Faulkner; and his siblings-in-law, Dwayne Sauter, Donald Sauter (Joy), Mel Mills, Armand Moreau, June Van Meer (Bob) and Geraine Sheard.

He is survived by: his wife L. Dale Purvis; his sons, David (Marilyn) and Tim (Jodi); his granddaughter Chelsea; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Moreau, Carol Mills and Betty Ruth Purvis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the New Estevan Regional Nursing Home, 1201 – 2nd St., Estevan, SK S4A 0M1 in memory of Walter.
